
Smells like sweet tobacco leaf and dark fruit pie. Tastes like the best effing wine turducken you've ever had - juicy cranberry stuffed in plum compote stuffed in edible velvet covered in dust. Yowza, if this is CA Mataro, sign me up. Core of red fruit gave way to the darker stuff, after some time. Nice. Medium plus body bordering on full. A titch tannic but i probably should have decanted it longer. Great black fruit. Had with beef tenderloin and lobster — 10 years ago
