Monthly wine group met up and had an Italian wine night at one of the local Italian BYOB spots. Really fantastic Italian wines were brought, as well as some random bottles that were outside the theme (but worthy of opening regardless of theme).
Haven’t had many Italian white wines, but this was pretty unique. Very honeyed and tropical on the nose but the texture was fairly full with little acidity. Best enjoyed slightly chilled.

Very fresh, strong, a little harsh...green fruits, grass, white flowers , cheese...

Fresh, mineral. White flowers in the nose, acacia. White peach, little bit of cream, toast, hits of rubber. Acidity is medium high

A little R&D for tomorrow. 2013 vintage. Structured, elegant. Bracing minerality, zippy acidity, with lemon and apple notes. The finish lingers for quite a bit.
