Really elegant wine. Fruit is black and blue and ripe. Medium + acidity and tannins. Tannins are soft and silky. Lovely long finish. Fantastic wine. — 7 months ago
Again I had this at a friends tasting last Sunday afternoon. No notes taken but I recall more honeyed and mature than Chablis oyster shell characteristics. I should add that Penfolds 1990 707 in the image to the right was exceptional. Drinking at its peak from a good vintage with still some years to go. 97 points for the 707. — 9 months ago
Lovely nose of petroleum/ fresh cut rubber hose, flinty mineral, ripe pear, white-fleshed stone fruit, lemon-lime zest, ginger spice, and flinty mineral, and that it's a light Kabinett, with notes of orchard blossom, white peach, and lime, balanced by great acidity and sweetness . The finish is direct and moderately long finish. Bright refreshing fruit driven and crisp. — 9 days ago
Dauvissat perfection. 2012 Preuses is in an amazing spot, riveting, chiseled, textural and pure with classic Chablisen oyster shell minerality in a tidal wave of spiced orchard fruit, lilies and the slightest nutty edge. It’s incredibly silky on the palate showing killer density without weight. Lasers of racy citrusy acids and a long saline finish round it out. Fabulous showing. — 4 months ago

Dark purple/black color. Aromas of cooked black fruit, violets and Asian spices. Blackberry compote, huckleberry, blueberry jam and black plum fruit flavors along with notes of chocolate, black licorice, basil, tobacco, coffee and vanilla. Hint of saline on the long and drawn out finish. High, but not obvious, alcohol (16%). Velvety texture and tannin structure. Plush, bold and powerful. Thanks for sharing, James W. — 7 days ago
