So lovely! And sooo many years left in this one. Definitely will benefit from some solid, thorough cellar time. Great nose with ripe berries, chocolate, licorice, christmas tree and slight tones of mint on the back. Tight and aggressive at first, needs several hours to open up. 2013. Beautiful embossed label. Very dark purple color. Ripe luscious aroma of dark woods that makes me salivate. A light tart initial taste with a distinct tannin dryness that blooms into a long strong finish of oak. This wine definitely grew on me as I drank more of it.
