So lovely! And sooo many years left in this one. Definitely will benefit from some solid, thorough cellar time. Great nose with ripe berries, chocolate, licorice, christmas tree and slight tones of mint on the back. Tight and aggressive at first, needs several hours to open up. After decanting it blooms with solid smoky tones, ripe dark fruit and cured meats. Great balance and insanely delicious! — 10 years ago

Beautiful unraveling. Blooms after air. And stoically holds her head high the second day in the bottle with a vision of the future. Jeanne d'Arc style. She wore armor made of iron protecting a heart that roared like a lion deep inside. Minerality that leaves you nostalgic. This will age beautifully. — 9 years ago
Rich plum color for a Pinot, black cherry mixed with spice and woody nose but blooms into a deliciously smooth explosion, very thick velvety texture for a Pinot, yummy fruits and spice balanced. So perfect! — 10 years ago

This evokes a late California Spring 11am picnic in Sonoma. Early blooms and the promise of bursting fruit. — 11 years ago
Tried 2009 vintage. Great aroma with the scent of herbs and ripe fruits, hint of prune to the nose and give off nice lingering scent that last. Once tasted, hint of minerals and herb actually blooms on the tongue. Berries and prune completes the wine for a medium finish. — 12 years ago
Thin but thick-skinned wisdom. Balance with soft blooms of plum. — 9 years ago
2013. Beautiful embossed label. Very dark purple color. Ripe luscious aroma of dark woods that makes me salivate. A light tart initial taste with a distinct tannin dryness that blooms into a long strong finish of oak. This wine definitely grew on me as I drank more of it. It will probably age well. — 10 years ago
My favorite seafood wine of the summer. Don't drink too cold, it really blooms after a little opening up! — 10 years ago

Fruit on the nose and palate that blooms with every taste and food. A delightful cab discovery. Very different and a wine I'd be glad to serve anyone. Very versatile. I had this with seafood, but it tastes like would pair well with many menus. — 9 years ago
