Initially short but after breathing was really full. Dry. Mild oak. Great at $5/bottle . included in Laitheaite’s initial offer. Let it breathe before drinking! — 5 years ago
Very good on it's own — 7 years ago
Gorgeous and silken, the 2019 Generation Dix-Neuf is a ball of beautiful, silky, concentrated Pinot Noir. Savory and smoky, it seems effortless, although it's clearly been anything but based on the impeccable quality. It caresses the palate. There's intensity and density here but no weight. The 2019 is a very complete wine that's still young. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)

Domaine du bourg neuf, Saumur blanc 2019
A great expression of chenin blanc. The nose is honeyed and flowered but there is a waxy touch to it too. Some very shy notes of honeydew and kaki too. The palate is bone dry and shows a great acid drive as is very typical for the varietal, some matter and some width, a good grip, some honeyed touches and some apricot notes too. The finish is long and great. I love this — 3 years ago
Very nice aromatic white — 6 years ago
Blend of Mourvèdre (high percentage), Grenache, Cinsault and Uni Blanc. Beautiful sockeye salmon color. Floral, spicy and citrusy on the nose. Flavors of apricot, red berries, pomegranate, orange zest, watermelon and fresh herbs. Beautiful minerality and saltiness on the finish and a crisp and chalky texture. Powerful! — 2 years ago
So good! Smoooooth, stone fruit with no sour or tangy components, something floral but not roses, delicious goes with everything not leaning sweet kind of white. — 3 years ago
Straw colored minerals and rocks. Honeydew and lengthy finish. — 5 years ago
White, mes amis. A truly 'awareness' moment in southern Rhône blanC. Bravo ! — 8 years ago

Domaine La Bastide Blanche Contrechamps Bandol Blanc 2017, France
Dark gold in color, showing it's age.
Light nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, apples, pears, light earth, spices, herbs and white pepper.
Nice length on the finish with lemons and light herbs.
This 8 year old white blend from Bandol is complex and interesting. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and nicely balanced.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years, and see how it evolved.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 53% Clairette and 47% Ugni Blanc from 50 year old vines. Aged in egg concrete vats for 5 months on its lees. A tiny production of only 1,130 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
