Treated by a great friend who opened this incredible bottle. A celebration of refined, jammy, bold goodness. — 2 years ago

Pretty solid. It definitely kept me coming back for more. It has been a while since a big Cab Sauv has made my taste buds perk up. — 12 years ago
In a great spot after an hour of air. A fantastic complement to lamb chops. Bravo, @Mike Smith! — 4 years ago
Hard to rate this fairly given it’s young age and lack of decanting.. it was a little tight and closed initially but started to open up as the bottle was consumed .. Has great upside and I can see this easily being a 95+ point wine if given the proper treatment! — 6 years ago
Welcome to the party - bam 💥- not a roller coaster at all but none the less an exciting brilliant craft oriented bottle of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - omg so good - love the color - simply amazing/ the nose is beyond balance and intoxicating but so powerful/ the finish is every bit of a full minute - my favorite unCult Napa cab - drink or hold — 7 years ago
Intense ripe fruit and powerful structure! — 8 years ago
Holding up well on day two. Dark cherry and strawberry with some barrel notes adding complexity. Excellent stuff. — 11 years ago

Decant for sediment(some fine/cloudy sediment). A sublime dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: dark plum, mint, licorice, smoked meat, floral, wet cedar. Taste: smooth, creamy wine with subtle blackberry/plum, cedar, pepper, graphite, and a dark bitter chocolate dry medium plus finish. Drink em if you got em, fruit is fading....nice price for a Beckstoffer To Kalon. — 4 years ago

Remember Back to School where Rodney keeps saying “Yes!” Yes to the dying of the light. Yes to Kata. Yes to @Benoit Touquette Yes to Realm Cellars new addition! Yes. Yes. Yes. — 6 years ago

There is something about Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard Cabernets that I almost always love. Like this wine, they almost always have a beautiful combination of black cherry and blueberry fruit in abundance. Maybe not as serious and structured as a To Kalon or a Dr. Crane cab, but so pleasurable and makes me so happy! — 8 years ago
Well done California Cab. Soft tannins, not overly oaked. — 11 years ago
Best Mike Smith value out there. Rutherford GIII. Nice. Needs some time but a bargain. — 11 years ago
