Best IPA I've had. That said, looking forward to having some red wine tomorrow! — 8 years ago
Developed with age, rich oak flavour with nice long finish. Very good. — 6 years ago
Purchased in South Africa. Full bodied with a hint of sweetness. Drank with Jayna on one of our last nights together! Oh those South Africa memories! — 7 years ago
Outstanding! A lot of juicy wine for $15! GSM blend from Barossa Valley. (I'm on an Australian wine kick, I think we all go through one...) I thought it would be the perfect wine for my dinner choice - smoked tri tip, safron veggies, pine nut/dried currant mixture.
The wine has a vibrant purple color, ample concentration, and fresh aromas - bing cherries, pepper, red plum, tobacco, lavender, and crushed rocks. The pallet is full of fruit and some juicy acid - dark raspberries, blackberries, dried red currants, green peppercorn, and a spicy finish. This is a refreshing red wine. Food worthy for sure, but a nice glass of red after a long day. — 8 years ago
Opened a few fun bottles to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. Cheers to 31!
I enjoyed a bottle a few weeks back, so notes are the same. A battle between chalk, limestone and stone fruits with toast, nougat and marzipan. I call this an oxidative style champagne. Very creamy and rich mousse. Honestly, I think this is best enjoyed in the near future. Extremely good now. — 7 years ago
Day 2 of Napa in the books!
Seavey’s flagship offering. This is close to 7yrs young and it’s still so youthful! At this point, it’s a back and forth battle between fruit and secondary/herbal notes. Powerful red fruit to the core with cassis & plum with minerality, new leather, and tobacco. A wonderful Napa example of Bordeaux. Long life. — 7 years ago
Sweet fruit flavor on a smoky, woody foundation. This wine keeps you interested. — 7 years ago
Dark chocolate, black cherry, raspberry, spice, vanilla. Juicy, mild tannins. Digging it. — 8 years ago
Delicious light cabernet sauvignon, flavourful with a light touch of eucalyptus — 8 years ago

Somehow whenever I know that I am drinking a wine to young I see @David T scolding me! I do highly respect his insights and the plan was to wait three more years!
But the realization that I was going to need to sacrifice a bottle; that I can Hopefully replace came late this afternoon.
Most likely we are going to be saying goodbye to our hyperthyroidism kitty " Patience" tomorrow. It has been a long battle and she would have turned 15 July 31st. So some self medicating is warranted! 😓.
Although this wine is delicious even young! Ripe Bing Cherries...licorice...bubble gum..tea leaves and moist forest floor! Delicious wine! I will try to obtain another bottle and let it age longer! — 5 years ago
