Unique sparkler from Sicily! Really like this. Crisp citrus and yellow apple with volcanic minerals. Strong bubbles, with a dry sherry finish. Pale lemon in colour. Herbal, with a bit of petrol, and lime on the nose. Fresh sage, gooseberry, and soft fennel notes on the palate. Medium acidity with the fennel/licorice lingering on the palate,coming around to ripe mandarins. — 5 years ago
