Beautiful caramel notes with a slight hint of honey I enjoyed every sip — 8 months ago
Well balanced cab. No parts too much or little. Firm tannins, some fruit — 9 months ago
Wow! Velvet, dark currants, mocha, caramel, dark chocolate, saddle-wood, underbrush, gravel, stones & elegance that only happens with this much time forward. Round acidity and beautiful balance and finish.
Stupidly good with our Tri-tip!!!
Photos of; my visits to Bodega La Rioja, their well backlit tasting bar, outside patio and large oak barrels that were assembled inside the Bodega more than 100 years ago...they’re that big and have required many repairs over the years. — 4 years ago
Light cab. Heavy fruit notes of dark cherry and blueberry — 7 years ago
Typical German Reisling petrol nose with light fruit and pleasant minerality — 9 years ago
First open, used Coravin on night one. Cotton candy first hit on the nose. Blows off and you get more melon. On the palette, oak, butter, then acidity hits. Too much going on to really enjoy the wine. On night two, much more mellow and enjoyable. More of the oak/butter style while I prefer something closer to Mayacamas/Mount Eden — 7 months ago

Black fruits, good concentration. Balanced sweetness. 2019 @7000, Barbie, 231013 — 8 months ago
Blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot, aged in French oak for about 18 months, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit, sweet spice and herbs. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with tobacco spice, toasty oak and floral notes. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, oak and mineral character, Nice, should age well. — 8 months ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 4 years ago
A little sweet at first, but finishes quite nicely. Nice price point for the quality. — 6 years ago
Incredibly delicious. Dry, full bodied. The guy at Bev Mo recommended it and explained that this is the best bourbon-barrel aged—they did it for just the right amount of time. Sounds weird, but so glad I tried it. — 6 years ago
