It's been said that Clemens Busch isn't at its best in riper vintages, and that observation has held up in my experience. Was vibrant on uncorking but quickly I felt the acidity taper off and left this a bit flat throughout a longer meal. The nose showed a nice tropical array. — 10 years ago

Great residual sugar but still balanced acidity. Orange blossoms and honey. Great with cheeses like an aged Gouda or a funky blue cheese. Not a kabinett wine though like the app says. It's an Eiswein. — 11 years ago
