Lovely nose of ripe pear, honey, cake frosting. Pretty easy to sip - round, toasty, decent acidity, slight pleasant bitterness, fresh enough but age showing nicely. — 8 months ago
Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with hints of oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Beautiful Thanksgiving wine! — 7 years ago
An incredibly powerful, oxidative wine from Jura. The intensely nutty, salty, oily, honied flavors were magical with the “Pastured chicken, preserved lemon, garlic confit” dish which tasted braised and white-saucey.
This would also be perfect with stinky cheese! — 9 months ago
