This one really waked me up. Skin macerated Malvasia (60 days) from the Parma hills. Beautiful amber colour. This is their basic white. Would like to try more. Nice introduction @ Le Baratin — 9 years ago
Okey smokey
Opens up to velvety smooth with nice berry and some vanilla — 10 years ago
Terrific at the open, silky smooth texture and very round and balanced with a nice long finish. Kosta Brown's elegant touch shows in the structure of this big subtly jammy syrah. Too bad there's probably no '04's available but I'm loving this wine. — 10 years ago
Caramel brittle on the nose, very light at first and explodes into a crescendo of subtle flavours -- vanilla and spice. Long and complicated finish. The taste just seems to grow infinitely after you've swallowed. — 11 years ago

Med-deep amber color. Ultra appealing nose with loads of sweet honey, dried apricots, maple syrup, crushed almonds and a hint of wet stones. Med+ bodied, quite oily mouthfeel, very round and intense caramel, maple syrup and hint of smoky component. This wine attacks your entire palate in an attractive way. I like this a lot despite slight bitter finish. Paired perfect with chu toro (medium fatty tuna). 375 ml. 14.5% alc. 1989 vintage — 8 years ago
Mining the cellar and came across these '06s...pleased this vintage has developed this well — 9 years ago
More amber than orange and very caramelly — 10 years ago
Deliciously fruity with a lot of vanilla/oak. Beautiful on its own. — 10 years ago
It was worth the wait. Hoppy, resinous, rich, full bodied Amber. Just delicious — 10 years ago
Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 11 years ago

Im surprised this delicious New Orleans home brew showed up in the Delectable App; but I shouldn't be — 10 years ago
My new favorite riesling. Dry enough to go well with sushi (and much better than any sake). — 10 years ago

Opened Thursday night and enjoyed a glass, but it was even better when we finished the bottle Friday evening. — 12 years ago

Light reddish amber, translucent color. Beautiful bouquet in the nose with notes of cherries and earth. In the mouth the fruit is less present and the finish is short. Great old rioja nose, but fruit is past it's prime. Drink up. — 8 years ago
