Very dry and clean. Minerals, light florals, grapefruit. Excellent pair to smoked trout. — 3 years ago
Had this a year+ ago, tried a new batch, noticed label color changed. A big fan of Tawny Ports, especially the 20 year blends are a Fav. Fonseca Port was founded in 1822 and successive generations of the Guimaraens family have upheld the Company’s reputation. Medium amber color with aromas of honey and pronounced nutty notes. On the palate ripe dried fruits with sweet cinnamon spice and oak emerge from the glass. Soft tannins long smooth finish ending with a sweet nutty character. Very nice. — 5 years ago
Super tannic and dry amber white. Such a good grip on those tannins, my goodness — 8 years ago
Very nice amber wine, one of the few producers we’ve found that make well-structured natty that aren’t overpowered by cidry funk and “off” aromas. Strong herbal overtones. Black tea. Massive desiccating tannins. At the same time the palate has an appealing softness. Lovely work. — 4 years ago

Made from the Rkatsiteli grape variety grown in the Kakheti region of the Country of Georgia. This wine was fermented on the skins in Qvevri, large clay jars buried under the ground, following the 8000 year old Georgian traditional method. The wine’s amber color is a result of its extended contact with the skins. Nose and palate of dried peaches, apricots, nuts, baking spices, herbs, honey, sea water. Medium full body, medium plus acidity, high tannins. — 5 years ago
