One of the nicest chocolate stouts I have had. A great brew from those traditional and skilled chaps at Samuel Smiths. — 6 months ago

Domaine Belluard

Les Alpes Savoie Gringet 2014

Smells of stony alpine herbs. Tastes like that plus some light grapefruit notes as well as a dose of a hay, grassy flavors and a saline finish. I love this wine! — 3 years ago

A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale

Very decent beer. Floral, hoppy, good depth, plenty of body. Can't go wrong with a Lil' Sumpin'. — 6 years ago

Kagua Blanc Belgian Strong Pale Ale

Wasn’t expecting this to hold up to the amazingly rich tonkatsu at Butagumi. But, really hit the mark, especially with a bite of cabbage — a year ago

Mikkeller

Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Imperial Oatmeal Stout

Treacle, blackstrap molasses, tar, dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, black raisin, medjool dates, myrrh, ganache, opium-coffee, and ginseng scented. Amorphous mouthfeel, runs from thick and round to acid-buoyed on the end of a floral stalk. Dark brown sugar without the sweet, fig, clove, allspice, a little Nuóć Mam, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and gingerbread. This is mouthcoating breakfast fare begging for luxardo cherries or lingonberries, spicy sausage, rye toast, and smoky paprika. Gotta give it to the civet! — 5 years ago

Alpine Vineyard Chardonnay 2021

Young but the wine is so on point. By far the best American Chardonnay on the market. Crazy acidity, so much citrus, tropicals including passion fruit, just amazing 🤩 — 6 months ago

Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien 2019

BFM = Brasserie Franches Montagne. This is the Flanders Red Ale. A sour ale.

Possibly the best beer I have ever had?
The nose is dried red apple + dried guava +
Tart fruit on the tongue with a finish of sweet malt and tart cherry juice.
A wonderful acid finish that to me is reminiscent of what you might find in a
