A Fav! Medium+ lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, spice, floral, cedar, biscuits and citrus. On the palate flavors of apple, pear & ripe apricot with citrus zest, honeysuckle and nutty toasty oak notes, rich with creamy tones. Smooth, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit and integrated creamy oak. Nice! — 9 months ago
Smooth and not very dry, Kye likes it a lot — a year ago
Light, slightly fruity bouquet, a little tart and buttery on the palate. Great price at Costco and thought I would give it a try. I’d buy it again. — 4 years ago
Wow!! Broc has done it again!
2015 Carignan - Beautiful deep ruby red color. Nose reminiscent of a super ripe cherry covered in dirt!
On the palate, dry, upbeat, crunchy acidity, pomegranate, cherry, cherry cola, turns into a crunchy black fruit, some spicy notes🤔. Well integrated *medium* tannins, earthy finish. Dangerously drinkable!
Went soooo well with pepperoni pizza!

Tight, structured, took over an hour to really open up. Crushed raspberries, balsamic. — 7 months ago
Often the Grosset Polish Hill doesn’t live up to its billing as perhaps Australia’s finest dry Riesling but with this 2017 it probably exceeds expectations. It is simply fabulous. Some ripe lusciousness to the mid palate amid lime and lemon notes, but finishes bone dry. My first of 4 bottles so I will enjoy the journey over the next 5+ years if I can keep my hands off it. HH said it is shaping up as one of the greatest Polish Hill Rieslings. — 7 months ago
Schoolbook pinot with warm strawberry and sloeberry fruit. Cranberries on the finish. Some oak and spices on the finish. Simply very enjoyable! — 4 years ago

Really enjoying this wine. Very drinkable. Don’t know anything about Monastrell but would definitely drink more. For a $15 wine, this is great QPR! Drink this all day! — 7 years ago

Drinking alongside the Sliver, the ‘21 Chalk Hill comes across as richer and more extracted, offering dense layers of blackcurrant, blackberry paste, dark chocolate, and roasted herbs. The palate is deep and mouth-coating, showing ample oak sweetness and firm tannins, but the concentration slightly outweighs its sense of balance. Power and ripeness dominate, giving a bold, muscular Bordeaux style expression. — 7 months ago
Big bold Cabernet from Alexander Valley. Dark purple in color. Nice fingers. Earthy. Nice tannin structure. Black cherry and leather. Very nice. — a year ago
Great flavor, smooth, made in the USA.. — 5 years ago
Nice version of this variety. Rich grape. Quite dry and acidic on the tongue. — 5 years ago
Slight scent from the chin, nice deep hearted aroma when brought to the nose. Not super dry but not sweet either. A bit in the middle. Pretty tanny but not so much to leave the mouth super dry. All around a solid choice. — 7 years ago
Very enjoyable Christmas Day tipple - a veritable companion to a roast rib of beef. Silky and sublime. — 9 years ago
