Like drinking velvet. Strong blackberry flavors, a little bitter/sour/peppery, lingering finish. — 7 years ago
Single Barrel 125 Proof KSBW Bottled for The Spirit Shop (Norman, OK). Massive malt, caramel and oak. Not for the faint of heart, but if you’re an aficionado of bourbon 🥃 you’ll love this barrel. — 7 years ago
Cereza, bosque, cuero fino, y algo de tabaco. Seco, Taninos M+, Acidez M, Alcohol M+. Buen vino por el dinero. Se puede tomar ahora o guardar.

The Miscelone from Le Ragnaie is a playful interpretation of a quaffable wine with its integrity intact and a great contrast to our preeminent Brunello producers top range. Sun drenched strawberries, raspberries, orange, fresh herbs, pepper and a garden full of flowers with a savoury almost creamy base note. Fresh acidity on the palate with round edges and a smooth flow across the fruitful palate. Only 12% alcohol so even a lightweight as myself can easily drench the bottle. Pair it with your Mediterranean salad of choice, grilled vegetables or whatever suits your summer diet. Have your friends nearby and warm summer afternoon that is turning to evening and you’ll be a happy camper. Will be equally pleasurable for both the wine aficionado as the wine hipster.
30% Sangiovese - 20% Trebbiano - 15% Canaiolo - 15% Colorino - 15% Malvasia - 5% Albana. Co-picked and co-fermented red and white grapes, both destemmed and whole clusters, semi carbonic maceration, short elevage and bottled with low sulfur. — 5 years ago
Wasn’t expecting such a big Chardonnay - this is full throttle! (And it impressed the resident Chardonnay aficionado, aka my better half). Stone fruits, peach nectar, butterscotch, a touch of vanilla, citrus and minerals on the finish. Creamy texture with very decent acid. Long finish. Beautiful.

📝 Frederic (Wine A) brought our fish courses alive with this unique magnum of elegant juice that showed the minerality of Chablis, terroir of old Burgundy & creaminess of a new world Chardonnay with a smokey tone - very unique mix of aromas & flavours that was perfect for the scollops & cauliflower porridge! Check out others reviews for better 📝 😜

Not a huge whiskey aficionado but this was fantastic! Very smooth and not very sweet. — 7 years ago
This quintessential IPA from Fernie Brewing is the one that launched the IPA movement in Fernie BC. With taste appeal from the newly introduced IPA consumer and the seasoned aficionado this hoppy IPA pleases all, at 6.5% alc/vol and a IBU of 70. Lone Wolf epitomizes our rugged and individual mountain spirit. A perfect match with wings while watching the Super Bowl. Cheers 🍻🇨🇦🏈 — 7 years ago
Love it. While I am not a wine aficionado, the 2013 has the right balance of sweetness and tartness for me. Served in Budapest after a great dinner. — 7 years ago
This is delicious. Not a Priorat aficionado. So no baseline. But, I'd do it again. — 8 years ago
Nice cab. Good flavor but not too overwhelming. — 8 years ago

Enjoying some White Bordeaux lately. Previous notes from 10 July, a few months ago still apply. A whiff of passion fruit on this occasion. A creamy textural palate with a touch of pineapple juice on the 2nd night Barbara thought. Back Story: Andre Lurton who bought this property in 1965 is an aficionado of Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon is very much in the minority in this blend. Usually 85/15. Great match with fresh prawns. One of the 1001 wines. — 5 years ago
