2012 drunk in 2020. Beautiful color with slight tawny age on the rim. Distinct leather, jerky smokiness, yet very clean with a clear sour fruit. Definitely improved after an hour or two in the open bottle.

Soft and approachable. This 2012 is ready-to-drink, and a great wine to introduce your friends to Piedmont. Muted tannins, integrated sour cherry notes, not overtly oaky, buy pine notes are there.

Perfect compliment to a great steak. A little flower and raspberry on the nose, with a delicious mahogany and currant flavor with medium tannins. A great value to boot.
