Andis - Old Massoni Ranch Reserve - Old Vine Zinfandel. 2022. The nose is really nice with a fragrance of blueberry pie and licorice in the background. The initial palate experience is blackberry, black cherry, and chocolate. The velvety mid palate quickly coats the mouth and then the dry oaky finish hits with a lingering desire for more! — 2 months ago
WOW!!!! 2017 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien , Domaines MARTIN. - Bordeaux France!!!!!!! I have finally found an exceptional bordeaux that rocks my taste buds! The color is dark burgundy. The legs are long and slow. On the nose, there’s lots of rhubarb pie and violets! My initial pallet is tantalized with explosions of blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, and chocolate. The mid pallet quickly resolves into a velvety, slightly buttered texture. Then there is a dive straight to the finish with lots of earthy oak and cigar box with a very moderately dry finish. . This is a good one!!!!!! We purchased this in Ireland and brought it home to the USA. Unfortunately, we only bought one bottle which is already halfway gone and I’m sure as you’re reading this, it will be completely gone. — 4 months ago
Sichel Margaux 2020 bordeaux. 13%abv. A beautiful French Bordeaux. I would but this as a house wine to represent French wine.
1. Its not brown!!!! 2. Bouquet is violets and raspberry jam. Palate is slightly tart, but lots of raspberry, blackberry, and boysenberry. There is a nice earth tone. Great dry finish!!!!! — a year ago
2013 Syrah just released!!!! It has an amazing bouquet of lavendar and Lillys. The initial palate is loaded with dark berry fruit, and a deep, robust oak and a smoky cigar box experience. And then, all of a sudden, it calms down into a velvety, chocolate, black pepper, and vanilla landing, like the ocean gently rolling onto a sandy shoreline.. Then comes a very soft and subtle black cherry and very dry finish. WOW. This little Andis Winery never ceases to amaze me. Thank you ANDrew and JanIS. This wine you’re making is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely the best in Plymouth. — 12 days ago
Skinner # 2 as compared to the Mourvedre. My wife likes it more. I like it less. It may need to be decanted. I’m not sure as it is a 2020. It is definitely not as complex and definitely more sour on the finish. My wife says it’s buttery and she loves it the most. It is a bit buttery, but I don’t have a really outstanding bouquet, initial pallet nor finish in my mind, but I will enjoy this bottle just not as good as the Mourvedre. — 2 months ago
Austin Hope! 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon!!!!!!!!! Delicious! This amazing wine has a beautiful bouquet that reminds me of a field of fresh lavender and lemongrass! The pallet gives us an amazing black currant, blueberry, coffee bean, as well as some chocolate and Oaky earth-tones. It has a very moderately dry finish. I just went to the winery’s webpage and ordered a case of their different wines. You must check this Hope family winery out. Hopefamilywines.com Excellent!!!!!!!!! — a year ago
2023 Rose Rock Pinot Noir from Eloa - Amity Hills , Drouhin Oregon. What a winner this one is. I can drink a whole case of this stuff. It’s absolutely delicious.. The bouquet is like walking through a ripe cherry Orchard. The initial palate is filled with cherries and raspberries. Then comes the hint of smoky charred oak. A slight hint of pepper in the background surrounds a deep velvety texture with no tannic overtones. The finish delivers a red licorice and sweet chocolate covered cherry finale. It is dry but not too dry! This is a fantastic every day every night Pinot Noir with an alcohol percentage of only 14.1 % abv. — a month ago
This is the first mourvedre that I have absolutely loved. It is from Skinner Vineyards. : 2018 ElDorado Mourvedre. The nose opens this show with black licorice and lilac. Then comes the first taste - oh my goodness. Lots of dark fruit, boysenberry, blackberry, black cherry, and maybe even a little raspberry on the finish. Mid pallet brings in some nice velvet chocolate texture and flavors. Then there is the Oaky very dry pallet finish. I give this wine an amazing 9.6. I love this wine. I’m ordering more. I can’t wait to try their Syrah tomorrow as well as their petite sirah on Wednesday!!!!! — 2 months ago
I sure do hope I can find a Wine that’s going to please me soon. This malbec is 135.00 dollars a bottle and has almost no bouquet. The dryness is unbelievable.. It has a nice velvety blackberry blueberry passion to it.. the finish explodes with graphite and a dryness kind of like licking a chalkboard. I’m probably going to have a couple of glasses and then pour it out. — 10 months ago

Not zinfandel but their 2022 petite sirah. Black cherry pie bouquet. My first impression is buttery and velvety smooth. Very soft tannins. Blackberry and blueberry fruit and a dry Earth tone finish. Leaves your lips smacking for more!! — 10 days ago
