I sure do hope I can find a Wine that’s going to please me soon. This malbec is 135.00 dollars a bottle and has almost no bouquet. The dryness is unbelievable.. It has a nice velvety blackberry blueberry passion to it.. the finish explodes with graphite and a dryness kind of like licking a chalkboard. I’m probably going to have a couple of glasses and then pour it out. — 9 months ago
Diamond Mountain has great soil for cabernet sauvignon. This is 2016 Andrew Geoffrey cabernet sauvignon : An absolute perfect cab! Black berries and licorice in line up front. Then oaky and graphite sensations arrive. This is followed by a very dry finish. Then there is a little chocolate and spice on the backend. This is very nice !! — a year ago
Probably the best CabFranc I’ve ever had. 2019 Voix de la Vigne - Red Mountain -13.5% abv. - Washington State baby!! BelVilla vineyard. Incredible nose on this low alcohol cabfranc. Blueberry boysenberry. The opening palette is filled with rich, dark fruit and followed with a beautiful spicy chocolatey, graphite oak. The finish is slightly dry and leaves you wanting another sip as quick as possible. Good Lord. This is low alcohol and drinks like a high alcohol wine. Buy Buy Buy! — 2 years ago
This is the first mourvedre that I have absolutely loved. It is from Skinner Vineyards. : 2018 ElDorado Mourvedre. The nose opens this show with black licorice and lilac. Then comes the first taste - oh my goodness. Lots of dark fruit, boysenberry, blackberry, black cherry, and maybe even a little raspberry on the finish. Mid pallet brings in some nice velvet chocolate texture and flavors. Then there is the Oaky very dry pallet finish. I give this wine an amazing 9.6. I love this wine. I’m ordering more. I can’t wait to try their Syrah tomorrow as well as their petite sirah on Wednesday!!!!! — 2 days ago
Austin Hope! 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon!!!!!!!!! Delicious! This amazing wine has a beautiful bouquet that reminds me of a field of fresh lavender and lemongrass! The pallet gives us an amazing black currant, blueberry, coffee bean, as well as some chocolate and Oaky earth-tones. It has a very moderately dry finish. I just went to the winery’s webpage and ordered a case of their different wines. You must check this Hope family winery out. Hopefamilywines.com Excellent!!!!!!!!! — a year ago
The Prisoner Wine Company presents their 2021 Derange Red Blend. I love this wine. This blend is just amazing. It is a typical big bold cabernet blend. The bouquet is lilacs and violets. The palate has a dry finish with dark berries up front, Earthy mid palate, and a beautiful chocolate and spice on the finish. I Love this wine!!!!!! — 2 years ago
WOW!!!! 2017 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien , Domaines MARTIN. - Bordeaux France!!!!!!! I have finally found an exceptional bordeaux that rocks my taste buds! The color is dark burgundy. The legs are long and slow. On the nose, there’s lots of rhubarb pie and violets! My initial pallet is tantalized with explosions of blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, and chocolate. The mid pallet quickly resolves into a velvety, slightly buttered texture. Then there is a dive straight to the finish with lots of earthy oak and cigar box with a very moderately dry finish. . This is a good one!!!!!! We purchased this in Ireland and brought it home to the USA. Unfortunately, we only bought one bottle which is already halfway gone and I’m sure as you’re reading this, it will be completely gone. — 3 months ago
Sichel Margaux 2020 bordeaux. 13%abv. A beautiful French Bordeaux. I would but this as a house wine to represent French wine.
1. Its not brown!!!! 2. Bouquet is violets and raspberry jam. Palate is slightly tart, but lots of raspberry, blackberry, and boysenberry. There is a nice earth tone. Great dry finish!!!!! — a year ago
Hesperian Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2014. Lots of sediment which means lots of aeration and decanting. After 30 minutes of decanting and achieving a cool down temperature of 54°, it is perfection in a glass. Beautiful field of lilac and wild violets on the nose. The pallette explodes with a beautiful, dark berry and black licorice overlaying a beautiful leather and spicy base. Lots of handsome dark oak and graphite bringing in the finish. Finishing off with a very dry spicy zing. Although not a Zinfandel, it is darn close. I absolutely love this bottle of wine. This is a fantastic creation of palette ecstasy. — a year ago

Skinner # 2 as compared to the Mourvedre. My wife likes it more. I like it less. It may need to be decanted. I’m not sure as it is a 2020. It is definitely not as complex and definitely more sour on the finish. My wife says it’s buttery and she loves it the most. It is a bit buttery, but I don’t have a really outstanding bouquet, initial pallet nor finish in my mind, but I will enjoy this bottle just not as good as the Mourvedre. — a day ago
