Plush and rich Merlot. Quite powerful and high in tannins. Aromas and flavors of dark plums and black fruits. Hints of leather, oak, baking spices, black licorice and grilled herbs. Long and velvety finish.

Needs 15 minutes of air time to get the merlot smell and taste going. Overall, very tasty for merlot enthusiasts but it's not an Indian Wells. That is my standard for a weekly merlot purchase in a reasonable price range.
