A great wine for drinking not thinking. Only getting more lovely over the years.

This wine is in a super place. Lovely round fruit and nice structure and medium bodied. Tasty moderately priced Bordeaux

Dense black fruit that envelopes the mouth, teeming with licorice, and forest/incense aromatics. It will be one of my great regrets if I fail to acquire more of this.

Deliciously meaty and savory. Lovely ripe black fruit. Wonderful - A proper Bordeaux.

Very tasty and typical profile of what one would expect. Plenty of years left in this one.

Where this wine started out quite modern and ripe a decade ago this now is very classic. Modest black fruits moving back and tertiary aromas al around. A bit thin and greenish midpalate but that’s compensated by a pretty long mineral driven finish.

This wine is more subtle than expected - and very nicely concentrated. Fairly nondescript on the nose the palette reveals dark fruit and cedar with plenty of fine tannins suggesting more life in a cellar.

A pointe. Lost its early stage flabbiness to become a very nice HM.
