4th generation winemaker Joseph J. Wagner with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tar and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of ripe raspberry and jammy cherry with sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice!

This young Pinot Noir from California is already drinking very nicely.

Big, bold and opulent. Rich, yet elegant. Very fruity on the palate.

Showing black fruits with wood, vanilla, earth, spices, chocolates, tobacco leaf and light green vegetables.

Spicy finish with soft tannins.

I prefer drinking this at around 5 year of age.

I gave it a long decant (2 hours), which callmed it down a bit.

A Pinot Noir for the Cabernet lover.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$50.

Always a great fruit forward Pinot. Very consistent from vintage to vintage.

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Sweet nose of black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates and black pepper.

Full bodied, soft and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, oak, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, chocolates, light earth and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very nice easy drinking red wine from Santa Barbara County. Fruit forward with mild complexity and a nice, smooth mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food. Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour of airtime.

Pinot Noir for the Cabernet lover. Rich and extracted. Spicy and opulent. Alcohol is already nicely integrated.

I've had this wine many times before, but never so young. Surprisingly good at this age and Will be better in 5 years.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

Oaky with tart blueberry and smoke. Sharper than other vintages I’ve had.
