Bright red fruit flavors of cherry, cranberry, and raspberry, with a bit of earthy funk going on also. Dried autumn leaves on the nose. Appropriately, this would make a good wine for fall. Nose: tight blueberries and raspberries, funk, and star anise+cloves; palate, super fruit forward in a great way, juicy, seductive with initially tight tannins; finish: long and dry and a bit medicinal.
