Shapeshifter. Starts off lean and bretty and gamey red meat to the point where I'm incredulous this isn't a Levet Cote-Rotie. And 45 minutes in the glass, the bright plum and mulberry come to the fore and it becomes reminiscent of the gamay it actually is. Had had a few ho-hum bottles recently and this was beautifully layered and still bright and lean. — 9 years ago

Yo G. Apparently the name was inspired by the Big Lebowski, which is a great movie, and the wine is really good in its own right. Condolences on Indians but they had an awesome run. Hope allis well with Gibbs clan — 10 years ago

Ho iniziato a berlo pensando fosse uno syrah laziale classico è invece è un toscano anomalo molto buono che si accompagna meravigliosamente con la carne rossa — 9 years ago
Sweet, with a motor oil consistency, immense fig and raisiny aromas and flavors. Have it for desert, or cook braised beef shanks in it for 4 hours. Trust me. — 10 years ago

Rich smells of milk chocolate, ripe blackberries brambles and fresh blueberries, with hints of white mushroom, tart cherry, and saltwater taffy. Medium-light weight, deep opaque red with rich oily umami mouthfeel and light red fruits like cherry and plum on the palate, and soft well polished black tea tannins lingering nicely on the finish. Very interesting red, like a poor-mans-Ho-Brion (😉), would probably go well with tomato-cream sauce dishes and grilled meats or great by itself. Great value — 6 years ago
