Impressionist notes from memory from last night. From a 375. Decanted one hour. Nose had graphite, dark cassis, cedar, intense gravelly notes. Tannic and obviously way too young, the palate was rich without heaviness, and at the tail end of the long finish there was note of the purest cassis that lingered. Come back in 10. — 5 years ago
Wow, jam, dark stone fruit. Deep purple rim. A pleasure to drink as I grill — 5 years ago
Less Riesling in this vintage... so less distinctive and different and interesting than the corresponding 2013.
Still a very, very well made Napa Chardonnay, low acidity, lots of vanilla. — 9 years ago
Astounding- but like a rich Rioja, fruity and well balanced, soft tannins. — 3 years ago
This was special. Just a 375mL opened late for a US Open Men’s semi. From the jump the bouquet grabbed me. Lots going on. Earth menthol aged nicely. This is a mature wine but not dusty. It’s packing it’s own punches and was a wonderfully unique ride. Lots of small sips and tastes because it’s one to savor but also so much going on - it seemed more appropriate. The fruit on the back end is memorable and layered. — 3 years ago

2013 vintage. Vibrant ruby color, med bodied, soft mouthfeel & tannins. Bright cherry, cola, plum, strawberry, vanilla notes. Nice lasting finish. — 6 years ago
What a great cab; structured yet fruity; minimum tanins in the back end; loved it — 8 years ago
The Antinori family of Florence, one of the world's oldest and most distinguished wine producers, has lived in Tuscany since the 14th century. Blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cab Sauv & 5% Cab Franc. Deep Ruby, aromas of black berry fruit aromas with herb, mint and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao, vanilla and aromatic spice. Fine graceful tannins, long finish, well balanced, savory ending with oak and juicy earthy mineral tones. Very Nice! — 3 years ago

25 years young. So many tertiary flavors of leather and tobacco. Peaked right in the middle of dinner. A nice finish to the end of a wonderful vacation. 4/20/23 — 3 years ago
