This Napa Cabernet is always delicious. Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, earth, chocolates, tobacco, spices, peppercorn, chocolates and herbs.

Spicy and bold with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice length on the finish and firm tannins.

Still young and needs 5 to 10 years of bottle time to mature properly.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$46.

Beautiful red color, dark fruit and well-integrated tannins make for a delicious wine

A dear friend shared this wine with me and it is delicious! I only wish we had paired this with some steaks! Dark purplish black in color. Opulent concentrated fruit with layers of flavor. Licorice, leather, tobacco, blackberry and blueberry. Some spice and pepper. This wine is young and decanting is advised. This wine should age quite beautifully. Cellar worthy.

What better than drinking a well rounded full bodied Stags’ Leap here in the bush of South Africa??! Okay, got it. No deer here but antilope. But they can sure leap! As this wine did to me 😁. Really enjoyed it. Very rich with the fairly heavy oak foot print fully integrated with the dark red and blue fruit giving it an intriguing ride and a desiring finish for more.

Smooth wine. There was something about the flavor that I didn’t love.
