Way way too drinkable — 7 years ago
Second wine at Great Falls Wine Outlet this Friday and second Skipstone. Deep garnet red. A little savory on the nose with some earthiness, tobacco, animal nuances, plums, and spices. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. A bit bigger than the 2005 but not as integrated. Dark plums on the palate with some floral notes and crushed gravel. Long and lingering finish. Definitely has potential to improve. Drink till 2025. (92+)
Made up of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc. Made by Philippe Melka. Selling for $109.99 at The Great Falls Wine Outlet. — 7 years ago
Great up front and mid palate. Falls off on the finish. I just think this needs time to fully integrate. — 8 years ago
Lovely nose of cherry, strawberry and a hint of rose petals. Well structured red and black fruit with a cola backbone on the palate. Moderate plus and consistent acid from start to long finish. This is a big but disciplined Pinot that falls somewhere between a California and Burgundy style. — 8 years ago
Very enjoyable, smooth dry red blend. — 9 years ago

Second of the Lamborn Family Vineyard wines at the Great Falls Wine Outlet this Friday. Deep ruby red with a reserved nose. Notes of mint, dried herbs and dark red berries. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Layered palate with cocoa, blackberries, cinnamon, tons of dark gravel and might even have a touch caramel. Very interesting, might just be the sweet spices coming through strongly. Lots of finesse and long finish. Will definitely benefit from a few years in the bottle. Drink till 2032. — 7 years ago
Extremely drinkable, rich and bold flavors, strong jam, smooth finish. Love this! — 8 years ago

This is our entry level Pinot Noir, fruit from estate vineyard in OK Falls and three vineyards in SE Kelowna. Older seasoned French oak barrels, fruit and cherry on the nose. Well balanced - a lovely expression of an Okanagan Pinot. Drinking well now but certainly has a few more years. — 7 years ago
Vicious attack of VA that falls away after 15 minutes. Unveiled, is fresh & punchy black & red berries. Major fruit depth boomerangs from tart to ripe, with balanced VA that lifts its secondary notes. Lovely Cote du Py indeed from 2011 — 8 years ago
