All 3 loved it. Sweet, but not overly — 5 years ago
Very impressive Pinot. Signs of age dissipated after 20 minutes in glass. Softened beautifully and over delivered. Touch of whole cluster add nuance. — 7 years ago
Earthy mushroom and cherry-berry bouquet. Tasting: Mostly cherry--a splash of blackberry, black tea, with limestone and oak on the finish, the latter sweetened a bit by the fruit. Well balanced tannins. In general, I am not a fan of straight merlot--and this bottle has not changed my opinion, but Ridge knows how to make it elegant. — 8 years ago
Loads of red fruit--raspberry and cherry especially. Nice touch of oak giving it some nice vanilla and clove notes. Good body and medium finish. Kind of tobacco-like taste on the finish. — 10 years ago
Wonderfully deep and tannic with dark berries, licorice, and a hint of spice #hopvwineclub #houseofpurevin #coronavino — 6 years ago
A Monastrell from Jumilla which I always enjoy. 18 months in oak. Very hot and dry aromas in the nose, sour red fruits, Black Forest berries, handful of nuts, jam. Very nice acidity and tannins, could still wait couple of years and age beautifully — 8 years ago
100 years of solid viticultral artistry in head-trained vines. gorgeously upright and joyful. — 11 years ago
Guillermo Gonzalez
Can’t get enough Chianti. Great nose of cherry and rose. Some chocolatey fruits, hint of wood. Tannins pick up with time. Opened to pair with Melissa Clark’s ‘pizza chicken’. — 5 years ago
