Loads of red fruit--raspberry and cherry especially. Nice touch of oak giving it some nice vanilla and clove notes. Good body and medium finish. Kind of tobacco-like taste on the finish. — 10 years ago

Since I tried their seductive 2006 vintage, I’ve been looking for other vintages. Finally, I got to try their 2001. This was not as memorable as their 2006, it still brought me back the memory of the wine. Garnet color. Dark fruits with leather and spices.

A Monastrell from Jumilla which I always enjoy. 18 months in oak. Very hot and dry aromas in the nose, sour red fruits, Black Forest berries, handful of nuts, jam. Very nice acidity and tannins, could still wait couple of years and age beautifully — 7 years ago
