This is one of my all time favorites. This pinot grits gets its rose color from being fermented over grape skins. Beautiful complex aromas ranging from citrus to the carnal odor of some red wines. — 5 years ago

A phenomenal vintage for FWG! Amazingly pale for its age, with a very finely honeyed nose of apricot blossom, white rose petals, and lime leaves. Fabulous acidity and amazing freshness. Only delicately sweet; perhaps some has dropped off with age. The perfect start to the meal! — 8 years ago
