From my friends on the West Coast. Guardian Cellars always a great bottle! — 10 years ago
Opened at kickoff of the Seahawks-Carolina game. Really in a perfect spot much like the Seahawks were during that second half beatdown. This amazingly still poured dark deep purple, like Ritchie Blackmore. Perfect tannins frame ymmy dark fruit. Man, glad a have a few more in the cellar. — 11 years ago
Shayne. Brahm wanted me to mention this. — 12 years ago
Light, fresh, bright, and gently spritzy. Delicately fruity nose with a bit of chalk and flint, and hella acid. Really delicious. — 9 years ago

The old man on the mountain never disappoints. Big, bold and brawny. The mountain fruit just has punch enough to hold up to the tannins in this big boy. The nose is tar, blackberries and menthol. 12 years old and still has a long life left. — 10 years ago
Smooth jammy red with lots of blackberries and some tobacco. Lingering finish — 10 years ago
Seriously. Still the man. — 10 years ago

Darker hues than I've ever seen from this bottling. Rather amber and dark. Marzipan, kettle corn, carmelized fruit. I enjoy tasting these but they always guarantee a hangover for me. — 9 years ago
