Drinking beautifully. Why wait even though this will go another decade. The first of the resurgence vintages at BV. Well done and worth the $90 you may find it for

Magnum format from 2001. Was the right time to enjoy it.

Color: clear, purplish red
Nose: has cherries but that's all
Palate: strong tannins full bodied,
Opinion: needs more air, a lot better than last coravin

Pours clean dark purple into the glass showing no age. I'll be damned if one couldn't enjoy the dark fruit aroma from 5 feet away. Wow. Dark fruit, leather and pleasant oak quality supplemented with a silky tannic structure that gave a 60 sec finish. Not the most complex Latour I've enjoyed at this point but this bottle actually tightened up over an hour after opening indicating much life ahead. Sheeeit!

Opened at kickoff of the Seahawks-Carolina game. Really in a perfect spot much like the Seahawks were during that second half beatdown. This amazingly still poured dark deep purple, like Ritchie Blackmore. Perfect tannins frame ymmy dark fruit. Man, glad a have a few more in the cellar.

Gorgeous Cabernet. Had in my wine fridge for 11 years. Opened at the fine suggestion of @Jordan Mackay to share with friends over a few amazing steaks. Perfect.
