How'd the 375ml of '59 Chevy w mid-shoulder fill show?
#LIKEABOSS!
Nose of crushed leather furniture, cigar box, fig, Christmas cake, plum & hints of a red cherry cordial
Still a pop of acidity with the fruit, but richness dominated adding raisin to the flavors along w feral animale & shaved dark chocolate taking over on the lengthy finish — 9 years ago
Opaque red w slight orange rim. Iron, earth, funk, dried herb, black cherry, rose. On palate red apple peel, more metal/funk; good acid, mild tannin, slightly bitter. Mourvèdre dominant. — 10 years ago

This wine is robust with moderate to high tannins, which I love. But what I love even more is that it is still very smooth. — 10 years ago
Birthday wine. After 25 yrs this pretty Cab is holding up very well. Clean w dark fruits, mint and some spice. Cork did crumble but was able to salvage. @SilverOak memorable wine. — 11 years ago

Smoky, peppery, almost effervescent. I'm a fan — 8 years ago
1999 Gianfranco Soldera Riserva Brunello. Lunch at T w Roger S and BP. Drank alongside the '99 Insignia. Decanted this wine ~30 min. We think this was an off bottle. Thin, high acid, no finish. Too bad. — 9 years ago
Skypark w the guys. Extremely well balanced wine with very refined nose. — 9 years ago
Fruity but not sweet. Light & easy. — 10 years ago
Love this one. — 10 years ago
Magnum 1995 Harlan at Pr w K, A&S. Awesome. So big it was hard to believe it had almost 20 years on it. Great w the steaks we were eating! — 11 years ago
This may be the smoothest Hermitage I've had @ £83 it's like a pig rolling in velvet 🐷 so smooooth 😍 Great now but 97+ over next 5-20yrs 😎
🍷 Ruby w/ purple hue
👃 Cloves, Olives, thyme & piggy 💩 through blackberry w/ touch of liquorice & minerals
👄 Med+ body incredibly super smooth olive tapenade, blackberry & dark cherry - surprisingly well balanced @ this age 👍
🎯 Long dark fruit & olive pure silk finish — 9 years ago

Robust and fruity, but dry. Paired w a Acorn Squash in butter w cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. All I had, but it brought out the earthiness of this exceptional wine. Recommend w a plate of pappardelle and white truffle. — 9 years ago
you better have port wine on your screen, and graham's is a big player, big in quality, though, as well!
never say "industrial" here.
qd malvedos is a sub vinery and allowed to make it's own vintage ports in years graham's doesn't declare.
this is a catch, really, if you are lucky enough to get it! — 10 years ago
1985 Sassicaia. Second red wine at Redd Wood lunch w A, S, and K. This wine was perfect. Epic. We could not believe how perfect this wine was drinking. Thoroughly enjoyed it- it was enjoyable the way truffles are- hard to describe, but pleasing to all relevant senses. — 10 years ago
Really unexpectedly trim and bright. Easy drinking w soft tannins and surprisingly bright light red and black fruits. I expected a much fuller, richer and more powerful wine for the vintage but it was absolutely lovely. — 12 years ago

Still a big boy w room to run. Powerful structure w balance. — 8 years ago
