Nice bang for the buck, a bunch of red fruit and the right amount of orange wine sour (don’t hate the description- it’s refreshing). Love the producer, can’t go wrong with this Grand Cru. — 4 years ago

Patrick Arnould passed over 2009 & 2010, but decided to make this 2011- a strange decision on paper. This all old-vine Pinot blanc de noir has it where it counts- in the bottle. Only 60 bottles for the USA, now 59. This seems lighter than past vintages, but still has that Nutella like hazelnut character that screams Verzenay. I will wait a year or two to have my next bottle for sure... But this long wine sure did go down easy last night! — 8 years ago
Bosc pear and apple nose. Lemon curd and super fine bubbles to mid palate then fades nicely. WHW — 3 years ago
Surprisingly, one I just haven’t gotten around to trying.
It’s very light on its feet. Micro oxygenation, lime & lemon pulp, grapefruit, white peach, slivered almonds, nougat, vanillin, notes of cream, delicate chalkiness & volcanics, saline, sea fossils, touch of yeast, lively acidity, clean, elegant, polished finish. — 4 years ago
Verzenay grand cru champagne at 19.99. Is incredible. Dry...orange ....citrus....did I say dry...at a 40-50 price range this is good...at 20...buy a ton — 5 years ago

Yes... It is champagne 🥂 — 4 years ago
A funky swervey champagne Rose’ of all Pinot (8% still juice) where all the fruit is contained within a burlap sack of barley husk and smoked peaches. Muted dried fruits - dried orange peel, dried rose petals, dried wild strawberry, celery seed, fennel, and Parmesan. Tart berries only on the finish. So awesomely unexpectedly savory. — 5 years ago
Crisp, fresh and the perfect amount of bubbles for my liking. — 7 years ago
