perfection in a bottle on this spring day - 75% Niellucciu, 25% of Vermentinu vinified separately — 6 years ago
This is incorrect wine but Delectable didn't list his Bianche white blend with Bianca gentile, muscatellu and vermentinu grapes. Peach, petrol and lime and ripe apple. Got a dry Riesling sweetness. Can you imagine cru vermentino. This would be that. Incredible. — 8 years ago
Seriously rugged and earthy corsican wine. Beautiful in every way. Need to visit this island which produces such lush and lavish vintages. — 9 years ago
best Vermentinu i have ever tasted. typically waxy with saline and iodine underpinnings, balanced by gorgeous acidity, and very aromatic, showing pineapple, crushed rocks, herbs and preserved lemon. this rating is for 2013, but i have also had 2010 recently, which aged beautifully. — 10 years ago

I wish I had the patience to wait to drink this wine when it matures. — 4 years ago
Simply beautiful organic vermentinu from 5th generation Patrimonio winemakers. Texture for days, ripe fruit, wild savory herbs, and mouthwatering freshness and acidity. Highlight of the Marfisi lineup (tasted with Julie at the domaine) alongside the dark and beguiling Ravagnola rouge. Took this bottle with us to enjoy in Rome. — 6 years ago
Vigneron Independent, lovely rosé — 8 years ago
This is one of those "holy fuck, where did gravity just go?!" wines. 100% Vermentinu Corso made from a Belgian of Sicilian descent, who returned to his island to grow vines and olives. More olives than vines. Any of which are particularly damn good, especially the Frappato -called Nerocapitano. But barring that wine, this is one of the most compelling versions, and perhaps clones, of Vermentino I have ever tasted. Not as oxidative than the 2013, also seems to have less skin contact, but I'm pretty sure it's only 48 hours, identical to the prior vintage. But its pristine! And senza chemica. The nose and palate transport me to a magical, far away land that I've never visited, but I cannot wait to go there. — 9 years ago
This is great! Aromatic, supple, mouth filling, textural and long. Seamless acidity. Slurp! — 10 years ago
2018 vintage. This is an amazing Vermentinu from this outstanding producer. Vines planted in 2009. Intensely perfumed with white peach, pineapple, fresh herbs (mint, thyme) and iodine. What you smell is what you get in the mouth: white peach and fresh herbs, intertwined with crispy acidity and a beautiful minty/salty/fruity lingering finish. Hard to find, even in France but worth the effort. Absolutely lovely. A producer to watch. Abv. 13,7%. — 5 years ago
