Loquísima. Plátano maduro, speculoos, roble almidonado, levaduras controladas, pan tostado, pipas de girasol. — 8 years ago
15/16 side-by-side. The 16 was just like a trappist farmhouse ale while the 15 was even more feral. Not for the faint-hearted, but I find them inspiring — 8 years ago
Crisp and delicious! — 8 years ago
This white wine always intrigues me. From the Lazio region of Italy made by Trappist nuns. Trebbiano, Malvasia ahd Verdicchio grapes. Very chalky, minerals, crisp apple, orange rind, oily. Very off-the-beaten-path style wine but great cold on a hot summer day. — 9 years ago
Great Trappist ale. Silky, creamy head and so smooth. — 6 years ago
Very interesting and not at all what I expected, yeast, bitter and herb notes make for a very enjoyable nightcap. — 8 years ago
Classic abbey blond, lots of esters and balanced sweetness. Citrus, pineapple, yeast, bread... This is the 8 blond, not the special ones at the abbey. — 9 years ago
Bière ambrée qui a beaucoup de caractère et qui est très parfumée. J'adore — 10 years ago
Inspired by the brewing tradition of Belgian Trappist monks, this dark "ale on lees" (bottled with yeast sediment for further fermentation) has rich flavours of ginger and toffee. — 10 years ago

Trappist wine from Lazio (same consulting winemaker as from the Paola Bea family). Golden in color and deeply intense - but very dry on the palate. — 5 years ago
