Had the 2021 in June of 2025. Was a WSJ wine but I really enjoyed this one. Nero di Troia and Primitivo grapes made this a very tasty wine. Had some of the plum and blackberry flavors with hints of spice and herbs. Well balanced- not a lot of fruit sweetness up front and not a dry tannic finish at all. Had some sweet potato planks and chicken thighs with chimichurri and it paired really well. Plan to get some more of this one! — 6 days ago

Blend of primarily Nero di Troia with some Aglianico blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of tart black and blue berries, tar and bitter baker’s chocolate. Flavors of cooked blackberries, black cherries and dark plums along with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and baking spices. Long and lingering finish.
