Blend of Cab Sauv (Dominant), Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec, crested by 30 year Chappellet veteran winemaker Phillip Titus. Tasted this at an event, wine displaying youthful aromas of black fruit, spices and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and cacao adding in some herbal floral notes. Vivid acidity & firm tight tannins with lingering finish ending with a youthful character should bode well for some bottle aging. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago

Deep Ruby, purple edges, youthful aromas of black fruit, spices and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and tobacco and herbal floral notes. Vivid acidity & firm tight tannins with long finish ending with a youthful character, aging well should benefit from bottle aging. — 4 years ago
