Picked it up in Madrid - my first Tintilla de Rota. Really nice - red fruit, floral aromas (violet?), some grilled meat. Soft tannins, nicely balanced, if maybe a tiny bit hot. — 8 years ago
Lovely. Just lovely. Having it with some veal rib at Alabaster in Madrid. — 9 years ago

Really really good wine from Croatia. Nice dark opaque red wine. Minimal purple. Orangey faded red rim. Notes of cherry and raspberry. Lots of baking spice and vanilla. Pepper. Good legs. Medium tannins with good grip. Woodsy taste. Very good wine! Paired with fish trio (monkfish, swordfish, sea bass). Wasn't the best combination as there were medium to medium strong tannins, but this was my fault as I elected both unprompted. This wine would have been an excellent steak wine. Really robust flavors and tannins would balance the richness meatiness of a good steak or even lamb. @2Ribara restaurant in Zadar Croatia — 9 years ago
Finally cracked this open and I must my wife and I loved it. Dark Ruby...textured nicely with red fruits, subtle oak and hints of Vanilla. A must weekend medium priced wine to put on your rota — 9 years ago
Wine from Gran Canaria's "badlands" -- violets, juicy juice, nice kick at the end. Can do with a slight chill below cellar and even more stellar with food from the grill. — 10 years ago
2012 #Viñátigo #Tintilla, #Tenerife, Islas #Canarias, #Spain. Bright and juicy, red cherry and raspberry fruit plus orange peel and pepper notes. Soft, silky, light-bodies. The perfect red for summer. #wine #sommelier #restaurant — 10 years ago
Mahara, Cádiz. Una cepa autóctona, Tintilla de Rota. Potente. Aromatico, in toque salado. Diferente! — 10 years ago
So delicious. Earthy and well wooded with dark fruits. Perfect with steak and into the evening. — 11 years ago

👃🏻 fruta negra, tinta china, tostado, cacao amargo 👄 buen entrada, pasó agradable, maduro y quizás un poco joven, le falta limar aristas en el final ... buen vino. — 9 years ago
Nada que envidiar a los Px. Excelente uva y excelente elaboración. — 9 years ago
DO Tenerife, great tintilla wine, great expression of mineral and volcanic soils. — 9 years ago
Deliciously soft and supple, perfect drinking time as acidity is mellow and the dried fruits are coming through. — 9 years ago
Easy to drink, but still different layers of flavour. Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot and Shiraz. — 10 years ago
Small production giving love and care to each bottle. Huge clove and turmeric smells a bit stronger then the taste but still very well made, full enough to drink alone but even better with a good hot meal. — 10 years ago
