My go to Club Pinot Noir. This is from Napa, not Sonoma. Complex, well balanced per label β 7 years ago

Mid Gold in colour. What a treat - a 15 Year old Riesling from the Eden Valley with fresh Pacific Oysters. Aromas of Florist Shop Herbs and Talc. Surprisingly low Kero. On the palate Lime juice Minerality and a touch of stone fruit. Amazingly fresh for its age with an acid finish. Will go another 5 years and be a 20 year Riesling. The perfect Oyster wine. β 8 years ago

Acidity for days! Complex start of ginger, white pepper, tart citrus fruit and cream before ending short with a toast and grapefruit pith finish.

2013. Fruity. Has dry finish. Drier as it opens up. John Frame might like this but not a company wine. Wine 3 of 3 from my first wine club shipment. Marin nicknames this "Naughty". Yikes, this is one of three bottles that are 2013 Cabernet Sauvignons but with different nicknames and labels! (1) "French Kiss", red and black label; (2) "Intimate", gold and black label; (3) "Naughty", red and gray label. Maybe his website explains the difference. β 9 years ago
Bright yellow gold. Inviting nose of yellow apple ale lightly buttered popcorn. Medium full bodied palate echoes the nose with medium plus acidity. Balance is key. Buttery to be sure, but everything else is there too. If you like the classic California style, this gives it in spades. Pair with lobster, roast chicken, or cream sauces. β 6 years ago
Medium gold, light mousse, but developed and loaded with bruised golden apple, pineapple, pear, and toast. Bright acidity resurrected this seemingly tired wine. Made from reserve wines 5-15 years old. β 7 years ago
Dark fruit and leather on the nose. Medium to full body with dark berry and plum notes. Grippy tannins. β 8 years ago
Bold, deep berry flavor, strong tannins β 6 years ago
Scrumptuous. Balanced-sweet, tons of gold fruit and nectar. β 6 years ago
This was really intense: dark gold color with really complex & varied nose of melted caramel & butterscotch with tropical fruit interspersed w/grapefruit & orange. Heavily oaked (vanilla!) and huge, a bit hot, really need some big stems & aeration. Silky viscous acidic frame able to handle weight & carry through primary flavors to finish. β 7 years ago

Color of beautiful saturated gold. Nose is nutty, with some mango and peachy flavors. Taste of ample acidity to balance the nutty flavors. After acidity fades away, more nutty flavors and fruits come up. Very round and full structured Chardonnay. Aftertaste is long and very enjoyable, with nice sprinkle of zest. Overall, she is a nicely made full structure Chardonnay that surpasses the taste of many other expensive white. β 8 years ago
Pale gold, fresh grassy nose with no after taste. Great champagne under $20 with discount coupon and shipping. β 8 years ago

This 2003 is delicious. Lots of life and very small bubbles.check the honey color . No oxidation yet . Some fruit but lots of secondary flavors. Like walking by a bakery. I think I will rejoin the Schramsberg club. A big π β 6 years ago
