I drank this on a boat anchored in Emerald bay. This tasted like the boat smelled, like a brand new luxury hotel. It was extremely sophisticated. Laughably so. Will rate this again next time I have it. — 8 years ago

A dry version of Zibibbo (Sicilian name for Muscat of Alexandria) reflected by bewitching siren depicted on the label :)
Aromatic, fresh and vibrant one, grown in Pantelleria on volcanic soils rich in minerals.
Fermented in stainless steel then aged in tanks for 2 months, plus 3 months more in bottles.
Brilliant straw yellow with emerald tints.
Ample and rich bouquet of typical flowery scent of orange and linden blossom, nattaran, peach, touch of sage and rosemary.
Crisp, well-balanced light-plus bodied palate. Refreshing acidity, scented by white grapefruit, melon, nectarine, ripe pear with minerality becomes evident at finish.
Was fine with catfish with ravioli and asparagus. — 9 years ago
Tart cherry on the nose, slightly underripe melon- grass, blue sky, meadow- this is summer. Designed to counterpoint roasted pork. Am I floating in a hot air balloon- basket style? Not fleeing Emerald City.... Dreamier. — 9 years ago

Lovely tandem by Muscat of Alexandria and Gewürtztraminer grapes.
Outstanding floral sweet nose, nice amber / emerald colour, silky delicious palate of Muscat.
Best served chilled down to 11oC. Perfect match to melon, avocado, cheeses and light ham.
Exceptionally delicate and fragrant. Absolute must-have for every wine lover's cellar — 9 years ago

Just right after a full day of Emerald Isle fishing. Dark red, hints of dark fruit with vanilla. Great with filet mignon, portobello mushroom and plantain. Two old friends sealed the deal. — 9 years ago

Donskaya Chasha is one of my favorite whites made of Rkatsiteli grape.
Colour of straw with emerald glitters.
Unbelievably fantastic, complex nose with over-riped quince as main component, plus tarragon, dried apricots and lime.
Tasting it shows premature green apple and lime hints.
Long lingering acidic finish makes impression of apple/quince lollipop.
Distinctive, energizing wine. I never met anything alike before.
Paired with white mold and goat cheese varieties - worked fine. — 9 years ago
Had the 2008, it was so good! Ripe tannins, emerald color, very good length, still so much dark fruit. — 9 years ago
