Last bottle in the cellar of this vintage and almost regret opening on a burger night except, got to enjoy with a good friend. I'd give this a top ten wines I've ever had rating. Perhaps top 5. Drinking beautifully with subtle fruit and smooth silky feel. This wine was amazing...epic — 9 years ago

This beautiful 2005 cab was an anniversary gift from a great friend of mine @Jeff Savigny The vintage is the year we got married. The nose is so complex and yet so subdued, it practically blew my mind. A nose full of roses, tobacco, dark fruit and licorice with a hint of molasses and vanilla. On the palate very dry, with a faint aged acidity, yet very rich and delicious. You can spend just as much time smelling this as drinking it. This was a near perfect wine and a great anniversary present! — 11 years ago

Our friend Rodrigo introduced this wonderful Spanish wine and it was a welcome surprise.... — 13 years ago
Dinner contribution by a friend. Why? Because we need to drink it! A bold dusty expression of terroir. Bold dark fruit aromatics. Soft tannins. Dustiness speaks of terroir not flaws. Elegant and evolves after time in the decanter. Continues to open after 1.5 hours in the decanter. Good thing he has more... I want more... I need more!!!! What a true pleasure in a glass Thank you!!! — 9 years ago
Only (only?) had the 2002 and it was so lovely. This is the sort of wine that could make me a sweet wine drinker... Full on honey and deliciousness! My friend buys two cases of half bottles per year and after five years sells one to finance that year's two. I may start following suite.. — 10 years ago
A delicious '89 for my friend on her 25th! Fragrant nose of dark cherries, licorice and floral notes. A full bodied, amazingly textured and elegant wine with impeccable concentration. Spice, burnt oak, black currant, cedar and earth. Such a fresh, vivacious 20 something. — 11 years ago

No better friend for a steak dinner. — 12 years ago
2011- gift from a friend. Excellent structure, tannins are very mellow but alcohol is still very hot. Fruit forward, possibly oxidized fruit (port-like fruit). — 11 years ago
Lots of fruit as expected and a sweet streak in middle. Pretty good but a certain Belgian friend of mine might call it a fruit bomb — 11 years ago
