Enjoyed this wine. Had with risotto a la zucca. Reminiscent of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Medium body, high minerality. Apple, Bergamont, White pepper, a hint of lime. A lot of the complexity was lost with the food. Better on its own in my opinion. — 4 months ago

Prior notes still apply, wonderful bottle!

Light yellow-green on color. Nose is beautiful white flowers, Gardena, Honeysuckle and Orange blossom, just wonderful. Palate is lightly sweet, but so well balanced with savory notes, minor frizzante and medium-low acidity.

🔹 Southern Italy: Mazzei ‘Zisola’ Sicilia Noto Rosso 2014 (Sicilia - Nero D’Avola)
