100% Tempranillo crafted by Asúa Winery located in the town of Haro, La Rioja, Spain, an area known for its unique clay soils rich in calcium and iron. This particular winery focuses on small batch production runs to ensure each bottle receives the care and attention in the vineyards and the cellar.
The wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, it has an amazing purple in hue. On the nose has some decent reductive aromas featuring plums and blackberry with a noticeable oaky layer. On the mouth the supple tannins and juicy on the fruit-forward complements the elongated finish.
A wine style that never disappoints and give you a tremendous run for the money! — a year ago

The real gout brioche deal, delicious way to cap off pre-Xmas in Montreal — 4 years ago
Beautiful vintage Krug, but clearly still very young (which is slightly nuts). Bubbles are quite fine but still very present. Yeasty and mouth filling - there is real power here. Deep and intense on the palate, long finish, great acid. Very fun to try - but would love to try in 5-10 years. — 5 years ago
Wow! Just spectacular! Wine of the day with wonderful, mouth-filling balance and breadth. Smooth, round, silky texture with real weight and complexity. Ripe melon, pineapple, guava notes that keep shape-shifting and hitting all the areas of the mouth. A genuine pleasure and surprise remarked upon by everyone. — 6 years ago

60% Touriga Nacional
20% Touriga Franca
20% Tinta Roriz
Dark purple color, with a lot of earthy components. Floral notes with a wooden accents, vanilla, and dark ripened fruit. All with a bit of leather. Nicely balanced with just a medium tannin structure. A lot softer than the flavors and scents give off. I think it’s delicious, and the 2018 is drinking quite primely right now. — a year ago
