@Delectable Wine this is just called “Pinot Noir. Thanks.
This is a blend of 30% 17 and 70% 18 as Sven thought 17 was too light. Stunning nose. Ethereal sour and sweet mid season cherries. Wild mint and spice. What a palate. Wonderful purity, crunch, sweetness and silky depth. Awesome. Really elegant and lovey persistence. So delicate and lacey. Velvety tannins and just a hint of bitterness on the finish which adds to the appeal. Such sultry fruit. All red fruits all day. Terrific minerality comes through on the finish. Needs a bit of air. I’ll be back.
Wow now the nose rocks. Honeyed, floral, grassy, herbal, so so good. Smells like a scene in nature. Insane florals. Elegant and sweeter fruit. Still the bitterness is there. — 4 years ago
Complex nose of spice, petrol, vulcanized rubber. Cotton candy. Peach. Apple skins. Very complex and giving. Very elegant, sappy and super pure. What texture and gracefulness. Terrific woodsy earthy spice on the nose after it aerates. Superb aromas. Smells like a scene in nature. Awesome acids and lift. Terrific intensity. Really great texture and some pithy citrus on the finish. — 4 years ago
The fragrance is vegetal, the taste develops with every sip. Tastes like citrus, fresh honeydew mixed with grassy notes. SO GOOD. Vintage 2015 — 4 years ago
Wonderfully densely fruited Riesling. Not unctuous or over the top but almost northern rhonish in fruit density. Nose is apricot and mineral. Finish is delicious. Juicy. Just yummy fruit. A kiss of candied lemon.
Not a typical Riesling. But goes great with weightier food like chicken in cream sauce. So it has a place in a cellar. Makes sense threat this is weightier as it’s from Baden which is Germany’s southern most wine region.
Very different. An unusual combination of density and vibrancy

Nectar of the gods. Apricot. Honey still fresh. Wow. — 3 years ago
A new one to me. Nose is rich with hints of phyllo dough, lemon pepper, lime zest, herbs, citrus and more. Wow, palate is electric! 19 rocks in Baden! Terrific purity and delicacy. This is truly wonderful on PnP. Elegant and fresh with terrific and playful minerality. Nose develops more wet earth and Baden “sous bois.” Nose just keeps unfurling. Terrific. Terrific density, concentration and explosiveness. Finish is sneaky long. This is such a complete wine. Hugely mineral wine. Terrific. I think my score will go higher. — 4 years ago
Goosberry, cream. Great sophisticated yet approchable wine fine for the springtime. — 4 years ago
Sick nose. So distinctive. Apricot, iodine, saline, superb minerality. Forest scents. Palate is just breathtaking. Elegant, fresh and huge acids. Dense and deep but so ultra refined. Complex and super juicy and that acid really goes into overdrive on the finish. Terrific mineral complexity just dances on the palate. Gorgeous interplay of fruit and mineral. — 5 years ago
Delicious!! Spicy and floral, drank w mom and dad and Sudanese food — 6 years ago
2009. This has aged into a perfect dark cherry, smoky tea monster with a slightly more supple texture than in its youth and the same feral earth notes I adore from this producer. I agree with recent CT tasters: this is ready to go now. Not a lot to gain by waiting. Reminds me of Chambolle/Volnay. Even Echezeaux, really. All hail Sven and Florian! Rien sans peine, indeed. It was worth it! — 8 years ago

Rich nose which is typical for this wine. Honeyed, also some nougat, spice, herbs, so complex. Smell decadent but also has restraint. Tree bark, lemon pith, lanolin. Super complex. Palate is incisive, rich and pure. But it lacks the energy of the 19 ngl. Good acidity and minerality and tons of dry extract. Delicious but again, the 19 crushes it. — 4 years ago
Thanks. Deep and very perfumed nose. Vanilla extract, herbs, spice and some apricot. Lifted and energetic nose. Really deep and wafting. Even floral. Palate is ripe, deep and juicy with appealing bitters in the finish. Acid is caressing and woven. Lovely hint of bell pepper on the nose. So good. Elegant, deep and super pure. This is a brilliant Riesling. Incredible texture and sap. What a finish. Almost a 9.4.

Very confectionary nose. So so good. Just so aromatic. Cotton candy, minerals, herbs and spice. Palate is classy and elegant with tremendous purity and juiciness. Round yet energetic and superb minerality and freshness throughout. Dazzlingly pure. Terrific depth. Finishes very mineral. — 4 years ago
Agree with Lyle and the others here an outstanding wine! Quite earthy. Dark cherries. Sweet Pinot Fruit very classy. Indistinguishable from a Burgundy @ a much better price. I get violets orange zest crushed marble anise. How stupid of me to buy just 2 bottles. Yes it could be a Chambolle although for this it has a tiny touch too much fruit. — 5 years ago
Happy National Wine Day! This producer was of interest to me after seeing Carla's post a couple of weeks ago. I don't find many good Pinot's out of Germany. Especially, out of Mosel. I've never understood why they persist in growing Pinot in a very marginal climate in blue slate when it prefers limestone. After researching this Baden producer, I purchased a bottle through the app. I like to support them from time to time. In reading about Enderle & Moll, I found that the winery is really only the two of them that make a very small production of wines. Basically, two Grand Cru Pinots and this is one of them. They also produce some small amounts of; Müller-Thurgau, Auxerrois, Weissburgunder and Grauburgunder. They only have a few hectares of vines but are already getting a lot of attention in Germany and now the International stage. A number of German's consider them the best producers of Pinot Noir made in Germany. The Enderle & Moll Pinot vines are amongst the oldest in Baden. They also get their barrels from Dujac in Burgundy that are from 1-5 years in age. On the nose, sweet dark cherries with a little touch of sourness. Strawberries, dark raspberries, dry cranberries, black cherry licorice/cola, light presence of dark spices, dry brown earth with a touch of black earth and bright red florals. The body starts light, fresh and thickens as the M tannins and earth take hold. Ripe, bright fruits of; dark cherries, strawberries, dry cranberries, dark raspberries & pomegranate. Black cherry cola/licorice, light dark spices with some heat, powdery sticky chalkiness, soft yet grippy minerals, powder of dry crushed rocks, dark moist earth & bright red & pink florals. The wine is lean, fresh, clean and quite nice with high acidity. While I had slightly higher expectations from my research, this is still a very nice Pinot and certainly one of the better ones I've had out of Germany. Photos of, one of their Baden vineyards, Sven Enderle and Florian Moll, their very small cellar and a example of Bunter sandstone similar to what's in their Buntsandstein Vineyard. — 8 years ago

Nose is creamy, opulent and ripe. Background of lean minerals. Nice breadth. Melon and cantelope. So pure. Palate is opulent and ripe with lovely texture and just the right amount of acidity. Very easygoing and delicious. Good concentration and exceptional purity and as it airs out it gets leaner and more acidic. 9.3 for now but can see this going higher. Love how lean and nervy this gets with air. So good. Lime zest and flesh now inflecting on the palate. Zippy, zesty and pure. With air this gains energy and salinity. Amazing intensity. — 3 years ago
