Superb, long lived and exquisitely balanced. Almost as good as the 59. Number 2 wine of this Latour vertical. — 9 years ago
Kudos to the boys for all calling it CdP, GV even nailed it a Pegau blind. Bramble, tar and hint of garrigue. Rich, distinctive nose. Amazingly still coming together after 3 hr decant, the pieces all there: beef blood, earth, peppery spice, pipe tobacco. Big tannins on the precipice of melting down and perfectly melding it all together. Just a few years before this passes superb on its way to profound. — 10 years ago
I owned a case of this and consumed most of it way too early. The last couple of bottles were perfectly aged and this was a superb Bordeaux. — 10 years ago
Just superb. Amazing nose, delicate yet firm. — 9 years ago
2013. Superb. Was expecting infanticide and discovered a prodigy. Lighter side of Syrah, perfectly delineated after 1 hr decant. Feminine, lithe lens on allspice, lavender, bacon fat. Swathe of fine tannins. This will evolve for decades, so nicely structured, but worth trying now. As good as the pricier VV I tried last year. — 9 years ago
1986 Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur" , Domaine Raveneau:
showing signs of gentle oxidation, a bright gold color and an almost creamy texture with a subtly toasty finish that paired beautifully with the superb cuisine at Restaurant Gary Danko--SANTÉ! — 10 years ago
Superb - gorgeous structure, acidity with bright fruit. Still a baby. — 11 years ago
2006 vintage. At Au Fil du Zinc, Chablis. Pale garnet hue. Savoury, Earth and manure nose, red currant and wild strawberry, red cherry. On the palate, medium acidity, medium body, medium plus alcohol. Full concentration. Long long finish. Licorice, mint, savoury spices, the whole shebang. More evolved than the '05. Superb. — 9 years ago
Superb - beautifully balanced, delicate, and elegant. Smooth, lush, finish that just melts in your mouth. — 9 years ago
Took a while to open but then superb — 9 years ago
Absolutely superb. Mouthfeel the definition of suppleness in Syrah. Young. — 10 years ago
Superb from start to finish. Robust nose of dark cherry, tobacco and earth. Taste is amazing. Dances on your tongues tip..meanders to the center of your tongue with all the body one can endure....and finishes with you longing for more...whew...I think i need a smoke after that! — 10 years ago
Superb and otherworldly, notes more like white port than white (or orange) wine, even with faint notes of cork taint — 10 years ago

A nose of kirsch, cherry and a touch of funky barnyard. Superb acidity and cherry all over the palate. Juicy. Tannins are harder than those of foillard in the same vintage. Very good — 9 years ago
