Happy Father’s Day! Wonderful pull by my father in law.
I’m a big fan of this winery as you don’t see them around very much. Such high quality with impeccable wine making. Slow ox for 1-2hrs. 95 merlot/5 CabFranc. Espresso and dark cocoa dusted black cherry, ripe blackberry and currant aromatics...intoxicating. So soft, yet ripe fruit, on the palate. Cherry swisher sweets, baked mixed berry figs, and still tart red and black fruit. Can’t believe how tart and ripe the fruit is even at 13yrs. Outstanding. — 6 years ago
Finding ways to stay warm post bombogenesis. Deep, deep garnet in the glass. Super extracted, it literally stains the glass as you swirl. Still very tightly wound, this has a very long life ahead. Dark red and blue fruits, violets, creme de cassis, hints of smoke, grippy tannins, and some bay leaf / wild herbs. Gorgeous with a 2 hour decant, but will be even better with a few more years on it.
Sincere thanks to the HFIC @Martin G Rivard for this beauty. Like rays from the Sunshine State, this baby is warming me up tonight! — 8 years ago
This is a yummy Sangria. The flavors just pop around on your tongue and creates a fruity party in your mouth!! — 8 years ago
A nice Cabernet - Merlot blend of eminent character & balance. Soft, smooth finish thanks to the Merlot. Blend had lesser amounts of Syrah & 6 other grapes so this is actually a Bordeaux. Blending adds complexity of flavor, including mixed berry jam, pepper & nuts.
JIM & LINDA REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE! — 8 years ago
@David A Lentine it was a great evening with friends and what a better way to enjoy it than with this fine bottle. Jennifer and I thank you so very much for sharing this. A distinctive red blend that is drinking perfect. Supple and smooth texture offering dark berry, blue fruits and plum. Ideally this is how all tannins should be integrated, wonderful! Nice long finish that shows puffs of smoke and the return of the fruit. — 9 years ago
Tar, hay, earth, leather, a bit of black currant and blue berry. Quite a pomerol classic to be honest. The palate is well done with lots of acid, a good bright fruit, some earthy stickiness/thickness ok the sides, some slightly drying tannins, and a great earthy, fruity, typical pomerol finish. Good not great but providing some satisfaction in its state ;) — 6 years ago

This is one of those where the aromas make your eyebrows raise, in a good way. Elegant nose of cherries, spice, rose petal. Strangely Pinot-like. Palate wise it’s all Cab Sauv offering up dark berry/cherry, licorice, baking spice, and an herbal note. Soft tannins rounds it out. Made from some of the finest vineyards in the state, one to seek out for sure. QPR in check as well. — 8 years ago
On the nose, baked & slightly liqueured fruits of; lots of blue fruits, plum, black raspberries, raspberries, underbrush, saline, violets, and dry brown top soil. On the palate, concentrated blue fruits of; boysenberries, blueberries, olallieberries. Stewed plums, black raspberries & raspberries. They are in a liqueured syrupy state. The tannins are silty. Wild berry cola/licorice, underbrush, touch of vanilla & caramel, loamy dry soils, steep fruit tea, dry stones, liquid violets & the acidity pours over the palate. The rich, thick, fruity finish doesn't stop. It's drinking very nicely but likely peaked a year ago. However, still a nice example of how well his wines age. Photo tour of our April visit to Noon Winery. Winery, estate vines, open top fermenter and Drew Noon pouring our tasting. He is a very down to earth/salt of the earth guy. Thanks again for all the time you gave to us. @ Gary Danko with Filet and chocolate soufflé. — 8 years ago
This 100 percent Grenache is in a sweet spot now, all delicious black berry fruit but with plenty of finesse. Dead-ringer for Gigondas. Winemaker Sean Boyd is a Rhone ranger! — 9 years ago
Wow, do I love a Washington state wine!
Roasted hazelnut nose, with a couple of char ones on the mix.
Large, bold body, light berry, fruit leather, smoke, slate, and mirrors.
This is a wine that enjoys company, and I am lucky to dog sit my Sister in laws Ewok for a couple of days..

DeLille produces classic styles of Bordeaux, Rhone & Provence wines in the state of Washington. A blend of 58% Merlot, 36% Cab Sauv, 5% Cab Franc & 1% Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with toasty sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao and subtle oak. Soft tannins, vivid acidity, lingering ending with a nice punch of fruit on the finish. — 7 years ago
Medium body wine. Berry flavor. Not tannic. Taste even Smoother if decant but good already . In Washington state. — 7 years ago
Really nice. Rich berry and cherry flavors with slight spice. — 8 years ago
Lovely leafy notes with notes of camphor in this Cabernet dominant red blend. The palate shows good sweet. berry fruit power with the Cabernet fleshed out with Syrah Merlot and Malbec. A note of milk chocolate. Overall a very satisfying rich Red similar to the richness you get in Reds from neighbouring Washington State. A gift from a girl friend of my son Hugh when she visited us in Australia- both of them Alumni of University of Idaho in Moscow. — 8 years ago
@David L thank you for sharing this with Jennifer and I. So refined and elegant! Wonderful balanced, lush, weaving dark berry, graphite and blackberry...silky and supple tannins. Finish shows dusty and loamy soils. Jennifer loves it David! Tell Kristen thank you from us please. — 8 years ago
Leather and alcohol on the nose. Bright red berry taste with a medium body and long finish. Little if no tannins. Very nice juicy Pinot from Santa Barbara. Have always wanted to visit this tasting room on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara. Would definitely buy again and will visit the tasting room next time I'm in town — 9 years ago

Consensus WOTN in a blind tasting 2012 WA State Cabernets and blends, against some stiff competition. Deep berry fruits with an excellent supporting structure and a killer finish. Surprised that is was 59% Merlot. Incredible juice. — 5 years ago
