A nice fruity wine. When you pour into glass, dark fruits and vanila woukd fill your nose. Medium dry. Lack of acidity and tannin. It's suitable for someone who likes sweet or soft taste wine. — 6 years ago

Premium Cuvée Tasmania White Blend

Sparking wine from Tasmania! A unique nose that is hard to describe yet familiar. Crisp and clean with mineral flavors followed by some citrus. Lots of small bubbles that continue through the entire bottle! — 8 years ago

Gnarly Dudes Barossa Valley Shiraz 2011

Love this wine. Thick, smokey. Fruit and liquorice totally coat your mouth. Just the right amount of heat. — 10 years ago

Yalumba

The Signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2015

It’s a good wine, but feels very safe and is somewhat uninspiring. Has a great mix of primary and secondary (winemaking) characters and strokes a good balance between the varietals. Still very primary with an an abundance of ripe tannin that gives the wine plenty of approachability. — 7 years ago

Bass Phillip

Premium Gippsland Pinot Noir 2003

Overall tawny with a mid crimson core. Not as complex as I thought it would be for a 2003 BP Premium. Aromas of Forest floor, Mulch heap with earthy mushroom notes. BP Premiums usually good for 15 years but this faded a little at the end. A lovely wine nevertheless with a long persistence of flavour. — 8 years ago

Two Left Feet Shiraz Blend 2010

Great wine for the price, plenty of sweet fruit flavours, high alcohol but not overpowering in the taste, best when a little below red wine serving temperatures. — 10 years ago

Torbreck Vintners

Descendant Barossa Valley Shiraz Viognier 2002

2002 vintage. A beast. Huge chocolate and Port-like concentration. Big fruit and complexity. Chalky tannins and alcohol sneaking through the mid palate. Some garrigue herbal noted. Very developed. Not sure it will stay at this level for more than 1-2 years. Long finish. Raisin on the end of the finish lingers. Proper wine. After 2 hours a slight fall off and more raisiny. Would recommend no decanting on this wine. — 10 years ago

Great example of aged Aussie Shiraz, for all you sceptics who think Aussie wines don't age...... You are so wrong! Beautiful, complex & sooo enjoyable! Thank you Charlie Young for the wine. — 11 years ago

Little Wine # 5 Red Blend

Deep crimson with purple rim. Notes of ripe plum with hints of prune. Medium + intensity with a dry finish. Great entry level wine based ( I think) on the good 2015 vintage. — 8 years ago

Single Vineyard Shiraz 2003

I love Dan Standish. He is one of the best winemakers. Lovely wine, very young. Blueberry and Red silky fruit. Full Bodied but not overly alcoholic, heat isn't obvious in this wine. Great length and layers of flavours. Big points from me 95 points. A producer I highly recommend! Typical sweet Barossa fruit, very seductive... — 10 years ago
