Once again a fantastic wine from Ben Glaetzer! Full of black berries ready to drink — 9 years ago
Very elegant. Still plenty of fruit. Definite oak but in balance. Some spice. Anise? Lovely wine. — 10 years ago
My favorite booze of all time. Stunner. 2002 vintage tasting so good. — 10 years ago
Love this wine. Thick, smokey. Fruit and liquorice totally coat your mouth. Just the right amount of heat. — 10 years ago
It’s a good wine, but feels very safe and is somewhat uninspiring. Has a great mix of primary and secondary (winemaking) characters and strokes a good balance between the varietals. Still very primary with an an abundance of ripe tannin that gives the wine plenty of approachability. — 7 years ago
Overall tawny with a mid crimson core. Not as complex as I thought it would be for a 2003 BP Premium. Aromas of Forest floor, Mulch heap with earthy mushroom notes. BP Premiums usually good for 15 years but this faded a little at the end. A lovely wine nevertheless with a long persistence of flavour. — 8 years ago

Sit by the campfire and relax :) — 9 years ago
V12. Exceptional wine. Very balanced. White pepper, crushed berries and eucalyptus bouquet. Rich black cherry and black pepper fruit. Soft, chalky, chewy finish with a hint of mocha. — 9 years ago
Great wine for the price, plenty of sweet fruit flavours, high alcohol but not overpowering in the taste, best when a little below red wine serving temperatures. — 10 years ago
2002 vintage. A beast. Huge chocolate and Port-like concentration. Big fruit and complexity. Chalky tannins and alcohol sneaking through the mid palate. Some garrigue herbal noted. Very developed. Not sure it will stay at this level for more than 1-2 years. Long finish. Raisin on the end of the finish lingers. Proper wine. After 2 hours a slight fall off and more raisiny. Would recommend no decanting on this wine. — 10 years ago
Great example of aged Aussie Shiraz, for all you sceptics who think Aussie wines don't age...... You are so wrong! Beautiful, complex & sooo enjoyable! Thank you Charlie Young for the wine. — 11 years ago
It's a Cabernet, Shiraz, Merlot blend. Perfume dark florals, black licorice, blackberries, blueberries & black plum on the nose. On the palate, ripe fruits of; blueberries, black berries, black cherries, black licorice, black cherry cola, violets, baked rhubarb, bitty stem inclusion & soft leather. Finishes dark cassis and high acidity. — 8 years ago
Sour red cherries, wild strawberry, horse shit, mushrooms. Wild acidity. Years ahead of it. Fresh. Vital. — 8 years ago
I love Dan Standish. He is one of the best winemakers. Lovely wine, very young. Blueberry and Red silky fruit. Full Bodied but not overly alcoholic, heat isn't obvious in this wine. Great length and layers of flavours. Big points from me 95 points. A producer I highly recommend! Typical sweet Barossa fruit, very seductive... — 10 years ago

A nice fruity wine. When you pour into glass, dark fruits and vanila woukd fill your nose. Medium dry. Lack of acidity and tannin. It's suitable for someone who likes sweet or soft taste wine. — 6 years ago
