One of the best pinots I have had (2016). Very nice balance of fruit and dryness. Mouth feel was incredible for a Pinot. Trying to figure out how to get more. — 7 years ago

Czech out those cold weather pinots. Very unlike Burgundy, and the opposite of California Central Coast — 8 years ago
very good Czech wine but not a lot of complexity — 11 years ago
After some early August coastal North Carolina Harley miles, I am digging this frontally crisp Macabeo gone Chardonnay showing a fresh nose of lemon over pear and something I can't quite nail, then plays around in your mouth unctuously coating then clinging then releasing into a proper HALO free fall decent then opening just in time to fill your memory bank to beg another jump... Very groovy hot weather stuff but with depth you'd expect from some dazzling dancing thing in twinkling light dinner. Diggin it for sure with some almonds, olives and timeless osau iraty just starting to sweat (the key to the magic). Get some of this stuff in Janeen's genuine coastal NC culture culled market.
PS you may know from the looks of my Springer that I not a regular Chard type...😎🌀 — 11 years ago

One of the best Pinot’s I’ve had. The aromatics jumped out of the glass. Tea and barnyard like the best burgundies. — 4 years ago

Day 1 of this year's Smallmouth Smackdown has begun. After 7 hours on the boat, and a dozen bass, it's time to crack into some libations (had a few PBR's on the boat).
This is a lush Zin. Concentrated fruit, but savory and chewy. Blackberry, blood orange, cigar box, and enough structure to age much longer. This is my 3rd Ridge Zin, and I'd have to say I still favor the Pagani Ranch.
