Definitely drink now. Lots of sediment in the bottle.

Not as spectacular as I was hoping for but still a solid showing. Might be due to mediocre storage since purchase.

On the nose: artificial pine, leather, and roasted (grilled? I've never had them...) Cherries. Very dark on the palate though velvety tongue. A needy mouthfeel. Ever so eager to drain you and leave you wanting. — 7 years ago

This speaks loudly clearly and with flair / it says big bold beautiful / it says structure / complexity / integrated tannins / it says lasting finish - fruit is all blue with black like my Carolina panthers

It says no nose with stuffiness is going to get in my way of blessed smells - taste gives me a swirl of brilliant notes of happiness

Oh wow. Comes off like a comic book version of a napa cab. Just dump trucks of pitch black fruit. Finish is lighter and tannins are less grippy than its cabby cousins but this is so bloody delicious I can't stand it. — 12 years ago

Tasted side by side with the 2013 vintage. Deep purplish red. A bit floral on the nose with some cedar, blackberries and quite a bit of spices. Sweet and heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Nice complexity on the palate with blackcurrants, blackberries, sweet spices, woody, a bit gamey and dark crushed gravel. A bit of red berries with some time. Long and lingering finish.
