Lovely sweet white wine. Buy it every time I’m in NM. — 5 years ago
Big surprise with this wine; brown color but it had something going on can’t say fruit but not austere or vinegary. Actually opened a bit after awhile. Got this from my friend Andy in the 90s. The bottle was also recorked in the 90s as well and the recorker did a good job as the cork came out easily. — 6 years ago
Medium red. Highly complex, aromatic nose combines raspberry, underbrush, flowers and spices. Juicy, energetic and mineral-driven, if a bit youthfully imploded (and still affected by the bottling). Not a fat wine but with its flavors of red berries, mocha, earth and brown spices it's an essence of Morey-Saint-Denis. The acids and tannins are not at all aggressive, which should give this grand cru relatively early accessibility. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2017) — 7 years ago
Thought by RC to be dead but really excellent. Probably fruit forward in youth but now nicely resolved and full of earthy secondary notes of dark fruits and minerals and earth. Long finish and fragrant nose of ripe fruits. Gerhard Revere dinner 8/21/26. — 8 years ago
Perfect paired with post rehearsal pizza and Twin Peaks. And alliterations. — 8 years ago

Smooth, brick red with brown edges. Light tannins. Medium body. Perfumed nose. Subtle blackberries, plums, and lavender notes. — 6 years ago
Very approachable 2013. Beautiful on PnP, but benefits from 2 hrs in the decanter. Very balanced. Blue and Black fruits along with some smoke and brown sugar. Tannins are already rather ripe, but will definitely benefit from some time in bottle. — 6 years ago
Dark tary cassis, blueberries, stewed plums, black raspberries, dry floral bouquet, herbs, milk & dark chocolate, coffee grounds and underbrush on the nose. The fruits melt in your mouth upon entry. The fruits are full and round. Blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, dry plum and ripe slightly juicy raspberries. There is a strong sense of dark barrel toast as I taste a fair amount of sawdust & baking spices. This couldn't have been in bottle very long. Mocha power & milk chocolate follow. Then, herbs dominated by sage, dry coffee grounds, dry dusty brown soil with crushed volcanic rocks, graphite, leather, dry florals. Tannins are still chewy. It's such a baby. This wine has all makings of a cult Cabernet. It's has great structure, length balance and nice acidly. However, It shouldn't be opened for 10+ years. Its so young, It's hard to score this wine higher than 95 but certainly has the all makings of a 95+. Sodhani's winemaker is Thomas River Brown has made 8x 100 point wines in his career. He's made wine for; Outpost, Turley, Schrader, Maybach, Aston Estate, Vieux-Os & Double Diamond. It's certainly worth keeping an on this very young estate. 2013 was their first vintage. Notes from a Coravin tasting.

An early evening HH at home with a fabulous Bordeaux wine. Color is a dark brown especially on the edges Red fruit and dark plum with a subtle barnyard lingering on the nose. Tastes of black fruit, currant and leather with earthy and smoky flavors and a sweet finish; tannins are mild and drinks smoothly. — 5 years ago
A marvelous showing for the Vergy 2008. Light on its feet yet gorgeously complex, right in between first and secondary aromatics. — 6 years ago
Fab St J drinking great @ £79 just past it's peak so enjoy now 👍

Surprised to learn it's a merlot/Malbec blend. Drinks like a rose even if it doesn't look like one! — 8 years ago
