Cork was difficult to pull. Beautiful red/brown color. Sweet cherry, caramel, spice nose. Rich taste of currant, raisins, spice with a bits of well aged leather. Long sweet finish. This is a drinker.

Feb 15th, 2015These corks always seem difficult to pull. Decanted this for 15 minutes. Chocolate nose with hints of sugary plum. Berries and light tannins upfront, but not very full or complex. Drinkable, but not special.

Dec 27th, 2014Raisin red/brown. Sugar plum nose. Raisin, leather with light tannins and only slightly more acidity. Changing fkavors as it opened up. Short finish, but still clings to the tongue. The sweetness went well with spicy Indian food.
